Rock show – IITM saarang 2007 January 30, 2007

Just back from Rock show in IITM – SAARANG fest. It was great. We managed to get 120 Rs ticket for 150 Rs (black 
ticket)… The show on a whole was awesome. Amphitheatre was hell packed with dudes and dudettes dancing, jumping, screaming, hugging(Am I in chennai???) for the rock, hip-hops 
numbers from two bands – one is Indian(named Junkyard groove) and another one is french(named Merzhin). I liked the french band much., They made my feet to tap. But the performace of the Indian brand(Junkyard groove) was commendable. They are going to compete with several other international bands like prodigy soon in dubai… Chennai rock band going international 
huh that is great !!!

Some twenty years from now:
- Software companies / culture would have spread across most Indian states, atleast to all the cities
- We can expect decent politics and politicians than now. But still the scams, bribing kinda acts wont vansish from the scene completely.
- All other departments in India would give salary in competance with software. Or software salary would get stabilised in the market. By then, software engineers will not be rich. They will just lead a normal life.
- Many foreigners will likely settle down in India than now. Major cities will be truely cosmopoliton.
- Indians will lately realize the importance of agriculture.
- Indo-Americans will be playing some vital role in American politics
- number of Cars will be equal or greater than the number of two wheelers in India
- Caste / Religion will always exist.
- There will not be any need to keep Cell phone, Laptop, Watch, digital camera, music system, TV seperately. Single device with seperate accesories would do everything. Will we call it as camphuter – CAmera + Music + PHone + compUTER- Cost of living will be very high in India than many other countries.
- Indian Work permit (like H1 in US) will be very hot in the market

Finally, I have opened up a weblog. I have known the existence of blogs and their usage since 2004 end. I never thought of opening one so far. First time in my life , yesterday I felt like writing a haiku(in tamil) and unfortunately I could nowhere store it. Huh ! yesssssssss it is the time to open up a blog.
BTW, for me – Haiku means just three lines of text that gives out an acrid message. It probably wouldn’t stick with the traditional haiku rules. And I will be posting it here shortly.
Watch out for all my scribblings, my experiences with the world and all the sh*t that I bother about posted in the coming days!
